Since the place specializes in Breakfast food and coffee, expect them to nail it. My personal favorite is the Chorizo and Eggs in a Pan. The Green with Envy (steamed eggs, tomatoes, spinach and native cheese) and Eggs Benny (poached eggs on sourdough bread, bacon, topped with calamansi-infused hollandaise sauce) are also good. They have generous servings too so you can share. The prices of the food varies. Some are a bit pricey and others are affordable. One thing’s for sure, you will soon find yourself coming back for their breakfast meals.

2. The Beautiful Brand

A group of young, talented and dynamic individuals own Yolk. Lucky Peach Food Group is made up of friends who share the same love and interest for coffee and breakfast.

They push for authenticity, creativity and passion.  When you put these three ingredients in the kitchen, there’s no doubt the results are awesome.

3. Lovely and Cozy Atmosphere

The place is not too big and even a bit secluded, but you will be pleasantly surprised when you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed and the vibe is perfect for groups of friends, a romantic date or just simple alone time. As a plus, Yolk has plenty of spaces and items which are truly Instagram worthy.

4. Extra Nice Staff

We expect restaurant staff to be polite, but you can tell when they are extra nice. That’s always an extra point in our book.

There are times you’ll have to wait before you get a table at Yolk. Thankfully, you can always lounge in the couch while the staff readily greets and warmly assists you.

5. Secluded Location

Sometimes eating in a restaurant or café outside the mall is like a breath of fresh air. In some cases, it can also be a challenge, places are difficult to find or parking is difficult. But if you are like me, a little food trip is always fun. Yollk Coffee and Breakfast is located at 80 Tres Borces St. which connects to F. Cabahug St. Panagdait Mabolo. If you are coming from Ayala, you should make a right turn on the road right after Bread after Bread and Burger Joint.
