What is Monday Musings?

Every Monday, we send out a weekly roundup newsletter to our email subscribers. For 2016, we started including Monday Musings. I’ve found this to be a good avenue to share cool stuff to you. To share it without the noise of Facebook rants, fail videos, selfies, etc. If you’d like to receive our weekly Monday Musings, subscribe to the newsletter.

1000 true fans

– Recently I was invited to speak to a University of San Carlos class about how we started Zerothreetwo. The aim of the talk was to inspire students to look beyond employment and find ways to explore entrepreneurship through online media. One of the topics I wish I touched on was the concept of 1000 true fans. It acknowledges that blockbuster hits/phenomenons are rare and very unlikely. On being thankful

– For a week now, I’ve been finding a reason to be thankful everyday and tweeting it out. I’m going to write about this more as a blog post in the future, but I wanted to mention it here on the newsletter for a few reasons.

(1) To keep me accountable – that’s also why I tweet it out.
(2) To share it to you in the hopes that some of you might do the same.

I’ve found myself have a lighter disposition ever since I’ve started doing this. I was wondering what other people would experience if they tried it out too.

This is what happens when  –  Unlike the usual serious TED Talks, this ten minute gem by James Veitch, titled This is what happens when you reply to spam email, is filled with goblets of laughter. We’ve all gotten spam before. It usually has something to do with an African prince or a lost relative. In this case, it was an “interesting business proposal.” If you are looking for something to brighten your Monday, you are welcome.
