With the growing interest and desire to travel, it’s no surprise Airbnb increased in popularity. I have personally used Airbnb both here and abroad. So far my experiences have always been pleasant, but this doesn’t apply to all. I have also heard many Airbnb horror stories from friends (both for owners and guests!). At the end of the day, it is your responsibility to examine or carefully research where you will be staying.
As a woman, I pay attention to details especially when it comes to safety. Better safe than sorry right? I’m personally not very picky, but a decent bathroom is a must and a comfortable bed is an added bonus. Aside from these, I want to make sure the place is interesting in its own way. It should be something you would like to recommend to your friends or tell your family about.
Here are a few Airbnb spots in Cebu that we found interesting:
This home has plenty of features for those on vacation; a grand masters bedroom with a view, a tennis court, two swimming pools – one for adults and one for kids, and a game room. Since it is located in Dalaguete, you have easy access to many tourist areas in the south of Cebu. Sounds like a total dream house!
Situated in Cebu City, it is only a few minutes away from I.T. Park and many well-known Cebu locations. Considering the traffic in the city, there are a few advantages being right in the middle of it, especially if your goal is to explore the urban life in Cebu. This particular propoerty made the list because it looks beautiful and the hosts are known to be very gracious and hands on.
When you hear the words luxury and Busay, you can expect two things; breathtaking views and a beautiful house. This “villa” is equipped with king and queen sized beds, humongous television sets, an infinity pool and staff to assist you with your needs.
Traveling in big groups can be tricky when it comes to accommodations. Luckily for you, this beach house in Mactan has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten people. You’ll enjoy the privacy of a home with the facilities of a resort.
The house description alone sounds exciting! It sits on a cliff and has a 180 degree sea view. Although the location is a bit secluded, the view is more than enough to make up for it plus you have easy access to snorkeling and other activities. You’ll never want to leave.
Are you looking for a place with a hotel-like feel? Pool, terrace, food, and even a friendly staff? This villa located in Ronda, may be the place for you. They offer a sea view and a private pool right next to your room. The tropical vibe gives you a paradise feel for your stay.
This is one of the few spots that will give you a truly incredible view of the sea. This room with a view will pay dividends as soon as you open your eyes. Since it is situated in the historic city of Boljoon, you can go around the area and visit the historic sites and churches too.
Who said we don’t think of the super budget traveler? Last but definitely not least is the Bamboo House. This promises to give you the true native Philippine experience. Add to its wonderful location in White Beach Moalboal, you are sure to enjoy your stay.
