If you want to have a quick break from the busy bee life then head over to Coco Palms Resort. The resort prides itself with white sand beach, pools with lifeguards and, it’s most famous feature, the Waterpark! It’s a place everyone can enjoy! It takes about forty five minutes from the city by car.

Be Resorts is truly a place where relaxation meets style. They have an impressive pool and a picturesque beach front. This is a popular pick for friends who want to get away on weekends. This is one of the more pricey options in the list, but you could opt for a day use rate, it should cost you less than a thousand per person. If you decide to splurge a bit and stay overnight, I’m sure it will be worth it.

El Salvador Beach Resort

Looking for a place with good value for the price? Take a look at El Salvador Beach Resort. It is perfect for outdoor activities because it is by the beach with a tropical garden. You can also enjoy a dip in the pool, bar and restaurant, spa and fitness gym and game/volleyball court. Get away and play!

Lambug Beach

Don’t need all the extra bells and whistles? Just want to enjoy the beach this summer? Lambug beach is the place to be. It’s a public beach in Badian. This is the most affordable of all the choices listed here. For overnight stay, all you have to do is pay a camp fee of Php 50.

Best Western Sandbar Resort

If you’d like to try something new, Best Western Sandbar Resort is the latest addition to the many breath taking resorts in Mactan. It is relatively new and has mixed reviews, but is starting to become a local favorite. Their water slides are among their best features. All of their rooms have an amazing view of the blue sea.  Their day use rate on weekdays is only Php300 and on weekends Php700. Not bad!

It’s no surprise that Rancho Cancio made the list of suggested summer destinations. The place is always fully booked, always try to get a reservation. Once the sun sets and night creeps in, you can enjoy the cool mountain air. The famous Infinity pool above the mountains will give make an impression.
