When was the last time you had a real vacation? I say real because with the internet, it’s very possible to continue working even in a secluded beach in the middle of nowhere. I struggle with this. Whenever we go out to relax, I usually find time to check email, respond to a few inquiries, and even on occasion, extinguish a few work fires.
I just got back from cruising the Baltic Sea with the fambam. It was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. So many new things to see, new experiences to cherish, and the best part of all, I got to spend it with the people that matter most to me.
“Are you sure about this? Do you really want to quit your job and travel?”
This was a question I had asked myself many times.
“Why do they make that sound?” Kami was referring to the local surfers as they shouted the words ice candy in what can only be described as orgasmic. “Ooohhhhaaahhhhiiiccceeee cccaaaandddyyy!”
The road to Cambais Falls was a long one.
It was Sunday morning when we arrived in Bojo River, Aloguinsan, Cebu. While waiting for the tide to rise, we flew the drone to get our first view of the place.
December 26, 2016: Boxing day.
For Boxing Day, we went to Royal National Park, Sydney, Australia. It was a day filled with grilling sausages, cliff jumping on a 30 foot drop, swimming the beautiful lake, hiking amazing rock trails, diving into the cold blue sea, and enjoying the heat of the sun.

From a culture perspective, there’s nothing quite like California, that’s where we spent all of our time. There’s no place in the world where you might be walking the street and see that guy/gal from TV walking back at you.
