If you’ve been following closely for some time, you should know that right before New Year’s, we always fit this little ditty of insider knowledge on our site. If you haven’t guessed from our list of milestones, we like to be transparent. In fact, if you ask us anything, we’re likely to answer you. If we feel like the answer could be a blog post, we tend to publish our answers online.
Below are the 2015 posts that brought in the most traffic:
This heartfelt essay on chasing dreams touched plenty of people. I really enjoyed reading the various testimonials and personal experiences. Many even shared this particularly touching quote, “Brave people go after what they want and great people find ways to get there.”
Arguably, the biggest and most anticipated opening in Cebu since who knows when. SM Seaside City lived up to the hype. And to think, it’s not yet 100% operational, imagine what it will be like with more stores and a few years under its belt.
Everyone is raving about Star Wars (and rightfully so), but Heneral Luna was the movie darling in the Philippines a few months back. It’s not often that a local movie catches the imagination and pride of the general public. In case you missed it, here’s our review.
At the time, Amy Vachal stood a real chance to win the Voice 2015. We now know that she lasted all the way up to the semifinals, still not a bad showing for this proud Cebuana. The link above shows her first performance that captured the hearts and minds of the judges and the general public.
Back in 2011, our readership grew because of the many food reviews on the site. We’ve expanded the content topics since, but we still have a soft spot for good Cebuano restaurants. Stay tuned for the 2015 list coming out early January. In the meantime, take a look at the best of 2014.
We usually stay clear of controversy because most issues have two sides to them. No one is 100% right or wrong. With that said, we can confidently say that we were happy to be on the side of a so called “’Fake’ Hands-on Mom.”
I love a good breakfast. At home, a staple of mine is brown rice, two sunny side up eggs and random breakfast meat. Yolk ensures that you can have breakfast anytime during the day, couple that with damn good coffee, this place is a winner.
Surprisingly, this post made the list. When you consider that Valentines happens in the 2nd month of the year, this still continued to get traffic throughout 2015. Turns out people are looking for romantic restaurants all year. We’re happy to have lent a hand to these folks.
We’re really happy this little video made the list! Every year, we usually have some sort of video production going. This year, it turned out to be a quick story waxing poetic on this place that we love. It means a lot that you watched it and liked it. Maybe more in the future?
Everyone loves a quick vacation. This is one of those posts that got submitted through our submission page. We love showcasing stuff from our readers. If you are reading this and have something to share, we’d love to hear about it. We’re just an email away.
