No movie review this week.
Instead we decided to share a little documentary about something we see all around us. It’s important to share stories like this to inspire us to find ways to make our society a better place.
“Belen and Elmie have known each other all their lives. With only a wall separating their houses, they are as close as neighbors can get. It’s this closeness, this familiarity that has helped Elmie in her work as president of their barangay’s Rotary Community Corps (RCC). With her firsthand knowledge of their conditions, she takes care of the poorest in their community, those in Quijano Compound, the home of her beloved Belen.”
