After getting tricked to join ballet by their mother, Carissa and Candice Adea started learning at a very young age. Their motivations for ballet changed over the years. What started as an outlet for play and meeting friends became a big part of their lives where they found a creative outlet and even meaning. They joined international competitions to improve not expecting to bring home medals and represent the Philippines.
