Many times when we visit art exhibits, the mood is generally serious. The art work is typically brooding introspective and, again, serious. Caricatura by Gil Maningo was a nice change from the usual fare.
Caricaturing by nature pokes fun at the subject by exaggerating certain features. Whether it be very small eyes or a huge forehead, caricatures are a fun medium. The exhibit featured colorful caricatures of local personalities and celebrities from all over the world.
