At around 8am in the morning on October 15, 2013, we experienced an earthquake. It caused plenty of damage (photos in the bottom of the page).

For those that didn’t feel it, the news broke on Twitter.

As the ground started to shake, we were in a state of shock and panic. This made me realize that we don’t really know what to do when an earthquake hits. Hopefully this infographic will help if it happens in the future.

Photos of the aftermath have been floating around the interwebs. Apologies if some of the photos are credited incorrectly. If you have more news, feel free to post them in the comments section.
