As with any Cebuano celebration, Parkmall knows how to party with the best of them. This weekend you’ll be treated with the best food and music Cebu has to offer. Couple all this with the festive Sinulog vibe, you can’t go wrong with hanging out at Parkmall.

Here’s a closer look at the what’s happening:

Lechon Festival.

(January 15 – 17 at the Central Bark/open space beside Choobi-choobi)

Any true Cebuano knows it’s not a celebration without lechon. Cebu has rightfully gotten the reputation of having the best lechon in the Philippines. Proof of this can be seen from the many roasters all over the city. Even Cebu’s citizens can’t decide which lechon is best. But this weekend, you’ll be sure to find lechon to suit your palate in Parkmall and you might even get a chance to talk to these expert roasters. You might learn a trick or two. Make sure to stay for the actual pig-roasting. It’s not every day you can have lechon fresh from the oven. Can you smell what Parkmall is cooking?

Tukar Sugbo: Bisrock

(January 16, 6pm onwards at the Piazza Rotunda)

Remember when Bisrock dominated the radio waves? They are back. Rock to a free Bisrock show featuring: Phylum, Braindamage, Agipo, Mantikilya, Emping Kabisote, and Southrace. The Piazza Rotunda is the perfect setting for such a concert. You’ll be surrounded by all your favorite restaurants such as Chika-an, Dimsum Break, Kublai Khan, Mooon Cafe, Shabuway, Shawarma Gourmet and Veranda. Make sure to stop by the Lechon Festival too.

Festival Queen Parade

(January 15 – 17, 3pm – 5pm)

If you can’t make it to the parade, Parkmall will bring the parade to you. The familiar sight of festival queens will be all around the mall. The festival queen is a very important part of Sinulog. This colorful occasion demands such a parade. There’s Sinulog all over Cebu and Parkmall is not exception. Pit Senyor!
