Any experienced retailer knows that the year is full of ups and downs. For sellers of merchandise like clothes, it’s common to think of June, July and August as lean months. Sales generally go down and it can be a struggle to keep things going. We kept that in mind when organizing Mercado sa Parkmall.
The goal with every Mercado bazaar is to keep everyone happy. Happy costumers mean they found lots of stuff to purchase which in turn means happy sellers. When everyone is happy, it allows us to organize more bazaars. It’s a nice cycle that we’re happy to keep doing.
he risk of a slow sales weekend was looming. There’s a reason sales generally dip in these months. People tend to spend their hard earned cash in more pressing needs; tuition, school supplies, etc. We never want to disappoint our sellers, but at the same time, we hoped the bazaar would be a respite from the lean months. Based on the feedback, many of the sellers were happy with the turnout. Many had a good time. Well worth the three days of standing and talking to costumers.
GIANT THANK YOU TO OUR SELLERS!
We’d like to thank all of our sellers for trusting us to organize the Mercado for you. These bazaars are hard work and we didn’t want to half ass it. Looking forward to seeing you on our upcoming bazaars.
GIANT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO STOPPED BY!
If you happen to be one of the wonderful people who stopped by Mercado sa Parkmall, we are eternally grateful. We hope you picked up a few things and are putting them to good use. Heck! Take a picture and tag us if you are using anything from any of the previous Mercado bazaars. We would love to hear from you.
GIANT THANK YOU TO PARKMALL!
Thank you Parkmall for providing a wonderful venue. It was our first air conditioned bazaar. I’m sure our sellers appreciated the change in temperature from our usual sweaty outdoor madness. Most of all, thank you for continuing to support local sellers, suppliers and websites such as ours. It’s rare to see a company with a thrust in truly serving their community. Special thanks to Justine for helping facilitate everything.
Here’s to the next one folks!! If you missed Mercado sa Parkmall, here are a few more photos of the event:
