The first time I photographed the Christmas Village of Hope in SM City Cebu, I didn’t notice it right away. It was only clear to me when I reviewed the photos in my computer and got a better look.
Last year, the photos didn’t do justice to just how much detail the Christmas miniatures had. It didn’t show the mini stories waiting to be discovered. You couldn’t see the family rushing down the stairs to the Christmas tree to open their presents, to the lonely father clutching presents braving the snow to reach home or the smiling dog at the Dog Hotel and Spa.
This year, I decided to focus my photography efforts on the little scenes hiding in stature at the Christmas Village.
Enjoy the photos.
PS – If you haven’t yet, make sure to visit the Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu to see first hand the Christmas Village of Hope.

Look as the family rushes down the stairs for the presents. The father even seems surprised to see the gifts. Santa is real!!
