Last January, a 19 year old Eurasian stunner won the votes of the judges with her enigmatic stage presence and flawless answers. More than that, she won our hearts with her simplicity, down to earth attitude and unique perspectives that truly make her stand out.

Our country loves beauty pageants. It’s only gotten bigger with recent victories in international pageants, particularly the controversial win at the recent Miss Universe. According to our very own Pia Wurtzbach, winning the crown in a beauty pageant is a symbol of hope for many Filipinos.
Last night, a new Miss Cebu was crowned.
She was no other than candidate #12 Wynonah Van Joy C. Buot who like her predecessor; Cheriemel Diane Muego is a proud graduate of the University of the Philippines.
