*UPDATE: Frontgate has a new location in Baseline Residence, Juana Osmena Street, Cebu City.
The only thing better than finding a great new place to eat is discovering the rich history behind the restaurant. And that’s exactly what we were lucky enough to have experienced when we were treated to one heck of a dinner at Front Gate.
Not many of you may know this, but Front Gate has been around for 11 years!! I know, right? In that time, this family owned eatery has gone through several changes. But in spite of these, one thing has remained the same: the amazing family recipes! Once run by their uncle, Front Gate is now in the hands of brothers, Sidney and Gary.
As you’d expect, handing over the reigns to these brothers would involve changes. And you’re right. Front Gate is undergoing big changes this year. Changes that are going to make an already great dining experience even better. So keep an eye out for them as they come at you better than ever!
Now, since we’ve covered that bit, let’s get talking about the good stuff: THE FOOD!!! And man, is there a selection. Let me start with a few words to get your imagination going: bacon, patty, and cheese. If that doesn’t whet your appetite, let me throw in a few more adjectives to precede those first 3 words: extra, double, and additional. Does that sound incredible or what?!
So anyway, let’s get to the bottom line here. Front Gate serves great food at a great price. Plus, they’re renovating the place to serve you even better! Feel free to drool over the photos of the food in the gallery below.
Author’s note: Front Gate sells their special bacon on a per kilo basis. It’s P300/kilo. Yeeeeessss!!!
