Don’t you love a coffee shop that encourages their customers to treat it like a second home? Like sleep in their comfy couches? I kid you not! That is what the owner Glenn Soco said when he welcomed ZeroThreeTwo, along with some of Cebu’s best bloggers, to Coffee Dream’s new branch in Benedicto College in AS Fortuna. He went on to say that it is not unusual to see a patron sleeping after enjoying a warm cup of coffee. In fact, he wants their café to be part of the neighborhood’s daily habit. For this reason, their cafes typically have plenty of chairs, accessible outlets and, most importantly, free wifi! This emphasis on community sets them apart from the rest of the coffee shops around the city.

They’ve had a lot of experience running this business. They started as early as 1996 and have opened 33 outlets since. In fact, they will be celebrating their 15 year anniversary this August. If there is something the wealth of experience has taught them, it is that in the end it is all about good coffee. They claim to have 100% local coffee which allows them to guarantee freshness. The prices are also very reasonable! Coffee starts at P60 and goes up to only P130 for the chilled blends.

See you at the Coffee Dream in AS Fortuna. We’ll be the ones sleeping on the couch.

PS – The Coffee Dream in AS Fortuna was designed by a team who mentored under Kenneth Cobonpue. Thus the “Cobonpue-ish” design.
