If you’ve noticed, we haven’t released plenty of clothing with the Zerothreetwo logo front and center. When we do, it’s usually part of a bigger collection and designed in such a way to complement a theme.
Partially it might have been because we didn’t have the confidence yet to release a product with our logo front and center. None of our releases have focused solely on the logo.
That changes today.
One of the most fun times in my life was when I played in a band called Rescue a Hero. Nothing could replace the joy of hanging out and playing music with my best friends. What started out as weekly practice sessions soon became weekly gigs. The Cebu Rock scene was fun. We played in shitty bars as well as our favorites – Outpost was the best.
As you know, Zerothreetwo is all about showcasing wonderful people doing wonderful things. Usually we feature them on the website and give them a shoutout on social media. This time, we finally have the chance to showcase people outside of the internet world.
It saddens me to report that acclaimed local director Remton Siega Zuasola got kidnapped about a month ago.
Ironically, it happened during an interview about his new movie, Swap – story based on the actual kidnapping of writer/director Remton Zuasola when he was only a toddler.
In its core, good music is subjective. When you or I like a piece of music, we aren’t wrong. That piece happened to pique our interest, happened to speak to our core, happened to tug on our hearts.
Today, it seems like every day there’s a string of people bringing themselves in for surrender, getting caught red handed in drug busts, and even alleged drug lords and their protectors being called out.
I didn’t realize it then, but our drug epidemic is real.
There are things worth doing for the sake of doing.
Blogging is one of them.
It gives you the opportunity to figure out how you think, to learn new things, and as a bonus, to share it with the world.
